After being thrown out from its old home on Siping Lu, this decade-long staple of the local music community has been resurrected at Dingxi Lu, right next door to C's Bar, promising to bring a more local flavor to the area.

The theme of the new SUS2 Music Factory is "New Shanghai"¨Cdown to the interior decor and the fresh smell of paint. Service is great and drinks are reasonably priced at RMB 20 for a pint and RMB 50 for a pitcher. On opening night, the bands mixed their original music sets with an ample dose of Taiwanese rock/pop anthems. SUS2 will also attempt to be a new destination for the white-collar happy-hour crowd, as well as continue being part of the force that keeps Shanghai rocking.
