Leading fashion retailer C&A has announced its debut in China with the opening of four Shanghai stores this summer at Grand Gateway, Super Brand Mall, Daning Life Hub and Shanghai Wanda shopping mall in Yangpu district.

The Dutch brand was established in 1841 and by the end of 2007 will have over 1,400 stores in 20 countries across Europe, Latin America and China. "Our vision for China is to bring the latest in global fashion retail to the upcoming and increasingly affluent urban consumers, the fashion conscious young professional women and men, as well as students," says Dr. Sandra Dembeck, Business Development Director of C&A China. Their collection incorporates women's and men's fashions, children's gear, lingerie and swimwear.
