C's is an interesting venue, it has character and atmosphere. It is never going to be given an award for interior design but you could spend hours here just reading the walls, who was here last week, who was here last year, it's all there.

In C's you know people have been there and possibly how much they had drunk at that point in their evening. Back in England venues that provide cheap drinks (not that anywhere in England would have drinks equivalent of 10rmb) and have a 'run down' feel can be aggressive and intimidating; C's seems relaxed and friendly. It attracted a wide mix of people from Chinese youth middle-aged expats, a whole variety of people just come to relax and enjoy some drinks.

It's a shame the sound system is less powerful than many house stereos, but at least they offer something different.
