"Where'd Chloe go?" might be your first question when you see the new Marni store in Guomao (don't worry, they just moved upstairs), but the discovery of the beautiful, eclectic designs of this young Italian label should drive away all feelings of disappointment.

Marni opened its doors to Beijing last December and there is a great collection on offer. The store is currently stocked with plenty of wearable silk and cotton bubble dresses alongside luxurious, empire-waist winter coats cinched with broad black leather belts. They also have a nice selection of accessories, including three-inch, flat wedge sandals, quirky, colorful necklaces, and bejeweled clutches and handbags. But be prepared to drop some serious kuai in here - any of the above items will set you back at least several thousand yuan. Sherisse Pham
