Liu's shoes go to charity

Star hurdler Liu Xiang will donate the track shoes he wore in his world-record shattering run last July to a local charity, Shanghai Daily reported.

The donation, the latest of Liu's philanthropic efforts, will go to a poverty-relief fund run by Putuo District government.
