Renewed Fabrique

(That's Shanghai)
Updated: 2007-01-11 11:19

Gone are the days when Saturdays would be an "I Love R&B" night at Fabrique. This weekly event had been a big part of Fabrique's success, crafting their image as the home of disco superstars.

With the recent name change to 4 Live, Fabrique plans to gather local musicians and promote their talents. Once inside the newly designed space, you'll come across a full-sized stage where the bar used to be, while the bar has been moved to occupy the old DJ booth spot. Lights are focused on the stage, drawing attention to the band's performance. While we waited for the show to start, we coolly sipped our Lychee Martinis (RMB 45) while others downed beers (RMB 25 and up).

When the lights went on, 4 Live became one of the hottest seats in town, offering a great dose of dub, reggae, funk, alternative, punk or whatever kind of live music you desire. Rock on!
