Try Three Guizhouers(chinastic.com)Updated: 2006-11-16 11:01 In 2002, three artists from southwest China's Guizhou Province opened a
restaurant in a small Hutong (alley) in eastern Beijing. They named the
restaurant "Three Guizhouers" or "San Ge Guizhou Ren" to mark their friendship.
Four years later, the two-story restaurant has become part of a restaurant chain
with five branches opened around the city. Meanwhile, it has also been named as
the best Guizhou-style restaurant in the capital.
Their dishes are said have real authentic Guizhou flavor; however, many of them have been improved. One of the owners of the restaurant is a talented gourmet chef. Once in a while, he teaches the kitchen staff some new dishes, which combine special Guizhou flavors with his own creativity. One great example of this is their specialty, "Sour Fish Soup" or "Suantang Yu." Yonganli Branch SOHO Branch Zhongguancun Branch Huilongguan Branch |
