Find celebrities' stuffBy Belle Zhao (That's Beijing)Updated: 2006-11-13 09:36
Owner Liu Bin, famous for starring in TV show Da Zhai Men, sells his celebrity friends' clothes and accessories to ordinary shoppers, donating one percent of the store's profit to the Beijing Hope Project. Decked out with glass walls, the 300-sqm store has a wall featuring photos of the stars who put up their stuff for sale. Find pop singer Na Ying's DIY T-shirt (RMB 998), supermodel Qu Ying's black cotton dress (RMB 90) and a painting by Liu himself. For those wanting to browse rather than buy, check out the store's collection of priceless movie-related memorabilia, including a camera from China's first movie Ding Jun Shan, and gold metallic sunglasses, as worn by Qu Ying in Zhang Yimou's Keep Cool (You Hua Haohao Shuo). The store also features an outdoor teahouse in its spacious patio. Dongxi Hui |
