Although it's located out past the southeast Fifth Ring Road, this
French sporting goods chain is well worth the trek-they have managed to maintain
the combination of quality products and bargain prices that continue to attract
outdoor types to their European branches.
The huge warehouse store contains everything a lover of the sporting life
could want-from tents to wetsuits, climbing gear to bike shorts, golf clubs to
riding boots-and yet they haven't forgotten to localize, with a good selection
of table tennis bats and badminton rackets hung up alongside those for squash.
The store also carries an impressive array of reasonably priced clothes and
footwear that are available in large sizes.
For those put off by the distance there is a shuttle bus that departs from
Jianwai Soho every 15 minutes. Their second store is located at the Fourth East
Ring Road at Dajiaoting Bridge.
