Club Show 5 may sound like a place on the Las Vegas strip with flashy entertainers in skimpy costumes, but don't be fooled by the name. In reality, it's just another club catering to yuppies who enjoy spending a lot of dough on liquor.

That said, CS5 is more fun than most such venues. Located in Joffre Plaza, the club's color scheme is black and orange, making it a great place to organize a spooky Halloween party. Black suede sofas ring the rectangular-shaped dance floor, allowing plenty of room to mingle. We made our way to the bar and ordered a refreshing Singapore Sling (RMB 55) with a hint of cherry brandy. Although the club's sound system needs serious improvement, there's still plenty of room to star in your own floor show.
