So far two days of the seven-day National Day holiday have passed and you are still lying around at home with nowhere to go. Here are some ideas for an easy get-away into the suburbs of Beijing. So put on some light make-up, rent a car and drive to unwind in some nice suburban spots.

What kind of make-up to wear?

Early autumn green

Green remains the dominant color of early autumn, so why not catch the last of green fever?

Clothes to wear:short green hooded sweater. It's sporty and the hood can protect you from Beijing's autumn winds.

Make-up to wear
Green eyeliner, the color of summer, and golden orange eye shadow, the color of autumn. colorful eye mascara to brighten the eyes and light pink blush to soften the face.

Tips
*If using cream eye shadow to dress the eyes when doing outdoor sports, leave the cream eye shadow thin and flat so it is less easily ruined.
*Different face shapes can all take orange golden eye shadow as golden eye shadows are seldom used to cover the whole eyelid. Just make small adjustments according to different face outlines: spread the eye shadows a bit towards the eye corner when applying to round eyes; concentrate the eye shadow around the center of the eyelid when applying to thin eyes.
*Black and white powder eye shadows may also work. Black powder may be used as eyeliner powder or eyebrow powder to trim the shape of the eyebrow and white powder may be applied to the T area to make flat features stand out more.
*Avoid pearl eye shadows that highlight eye bags and dark circles. Use satin white eye shadows instead.
*Make clever use of shimmer powder. Applying a bit on eyebrow bones or cheeks is enough. Never use too much across the face. When using shimmer eye shadows, match it with a soft-colored blush.
*When using colorful mascaras, try using black or brown mascara as a foundation. Then use the forefinger to brush the eyelash to make it curve naturally.

Climb in orange

Clothes to wear: orange climbing gear, cool sunglasses and an orange sports watch.

Make-up to wear
Option 1: Orange blush and bright golden eye shadow

Option 2: Orange eyeliner and pink blush

Clothes to wear: a colorful scarf with bright pattern and a blue wristband.

Make-up to wear
*Lips: No lip liner is needed. Try a color close to the original color of the lips, such as pink. Add some shining lipgloss. Estee Lauder Pure Shining Lip Gloss (RMB 195) is a nice choice for its fresh feeling and diamond color.
*Eyebrows: Coffee and metal gray are recommended. Apply some mascara to the eyebrow. Remember to match the color of eyebrows with that of the hair. Try waterproof Helena Rubinstein Unlimited Dense Mascara (RMB 350).
*Eyeshadow: Apply a light color to the inner eye corner and a darker color to the outer eye corner, unless you have a wide space between your eyes, in which case apply evenly throughout the eyelid. Chanel Eyeshows Quad (RMB 485) is recommended for its delicate grain and smooth coat on the eyelids.
