With over 100 participating art galleries from around the world, and an expected draw of 30,000 visitors over four days, the expo is of interest even if you don't collect art or work in the industry.

Many special exhibitions provide a solid survey of contemporary art in China and around the world; and Today Art Museum's inaugural exhibition of works by Fang Lijun is surely not to be missed.
