It's 1:52 am on a Saturday night-do you know where the party is? It certainly isn't at MOS.
Open for over a month now, the recently renovated space once home to Xanadu stands stark empty most nights. Once word gets out, however, we imagine the Shanghainese will come flocking to the neatly arranged rings of white sofas encircling a generous dance floor bathed in warm, orange light.
Off to the side, a lounge with a pool table offers an escape from the (non-existent) clubbers, while private rooms upstairs are suitable for big-timers bringing a party of their own.
The club could potentially give the stale Fabrique, located just around the corner, a run for its money. Yet, until the destiny of MOS becomes realized, the young and sociable staff is more than happy to simply turn up the music and invite those who peek in to join in on their quaint merrymaking.
