Sephora makes its way in Beijing
(That's Beijing)

The French cosmetics company, Sephora, has finally made its way to Beijing.

The new branch of this international chain is already a hit with the locals in Haidian, as it offers free makeovers and fragrance consultations.

This could be your chance to find out if J-Lo's Glo is the right scent for you, or if your eyes would look better glistened with blue eye shadow.

Brightly lit aisles are filled with women perusing upscale makeup and skincare products from lines such as L'Occitane, Anna Sui and Dior.

Though the shop caters to the femme, men can also fulfill their own skin care, shaving, and cologne needs. The makeup products are all imported, so prices are steep. Tubes of Lancome lipstick range from RMB 220 to 270, and Clinique's moisturizing lotion costs RMB 460.
