2006 China (HK) International Performing Arts Fair organized by the Association of Chinese Culture opened at Hong Kong City Hall on June 8. Forty-odd performing units, including art troupes from Beijing, Zhejiang, Jilin, Inner Mongolia and Shanghai, together with China National Oriental Song and Dance Ensemble and Shanghai International Art Festival participated. This fair intends to enhance cultural exchange between the Chinese mainland and HK, promote Chinese culture industry to the world and expand international cultural communication.
