Few urban establishments require the server to brush flowers off the table before sitting down for a bite or a beer; it's one attribute of many that separates Freelance from other bars and grills.

Built around several impressive trees fertile with ripened buds and with open glass doors that effortlessly fuse the outdoor patio and inside bar into one, the feel is clean and relaxed.

The flame of the charcoal grill lights up jovial patio-parked patrons' faces. They feast on divine grilled filet (RMB 130) served with a baked potato and saut¨Ĥed vegetables and can be seen sucking hard at Heineken half liter drafts (RMB 45) after experiencing the spicy sting of the barbecue baby back ribs platter (RMB 120).

If you plan on an entree, come with an appetite; otherwise, share a plate of chicken quesadillas (RMB 65) with friends.
