Care bear-Disney Panda film

![]() After the release of Secret of the Magic Gourd in 2007, Walt Disney Studios unveils its second joint production with China, Touch of the Panda, which opens citywide on May 8. Filmed in live action at the famous Wolong Giant Panda Nature Reserve, the movie follows the adventures of a baby panda who is separated from his mother and then befriends a lonely orphan boy, played by newcomer, Japanese actor Daichi Harashima. The boy then takes it upon himself to help the panda find his way home, and the two travel around the Sichuan countryside. The film is directed by Yu Zhong from China. In the Disney tradition of family films, Touch of the Panda takes audiences on an interesting and heart-warming adventure with the cute animal, which is also considered the symbol of China. Disney worked on the pre-production and filming with local producers Castle Hero Pictures and Ying Dong Media. Other films showing at cinemas including: John Rabe This documentary tells the true story of a German businessman and former Nazi who saved some 200,000 Chinese during the Nanjing massacre. The film premiered at the Berlin Film Festival this February to wide acclaim. Directed by Oscar winner Florian Gallenberger. Ticket Born an orphan and raised in a nunnery, promising journalist Yue sets out to find her biological mother, her only clue being a train ticket. As she follows the clue to a rural town, she discovers the real reason behind her abandonment. Directed by Zhang Zhiliang and starring Zuo Xiaoqing. Female Agents Four Frenchwomen put up a fine resistance in this World War II tale. And despite every known war movie cliche, it's still an exciting ride. Directed by Jean-Paul Salome; starring Sophie Marceau, Julie Depardieu, Marie Gillain, Deborah Francois, Maya Sansa, Moritz Bleibtreu. |
