BEIJING — An exhibition of 300 pieces of calligraphy created by workers from across the nation opened on Tuesday to mark the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC).

With the theme of praising the achievements of the CPC, the exhibition organizers received tens of thousands of pieces of calligraphy from workers in 31 provinces and municipalities since March.

Wang Yupu, vice-chairman of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, said at the exhibition’s ribbon-cutting ceremony that it shows the Chinese working class’firm belief in the CPC. Wang said the exhibition has an artistic form that combines historical heritage and modern flavor.

The exhibition, which was jointly organized by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, China Calligraphers Association and Chinese Workers Calligraphers Association, can be seen at the Imperial Ancestral Temple until early July.
