BEIJING - Li Yuanchao, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, met here Wednesday with a delegation of the European Green Party.
Li, head of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, said the dialogues and exchanges between the CPC and Europe's political parties kept expanding in recent years, which had played an important role in advancing Sino-Europe cooperation.
Philippe Lamberts, co-spokesperson of the European Green Party and head of the delegation, said the European Green Party wanted to upgrade its relationship with the CPC as China was playing a more and more important role in the world.
The delegation will conclude its six-day visit to China on Friday.
