CPC discipline body holds first plenary session

BEIJING - Wang Qishan was elected secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) of the Communist Party of China (CPC) on Thursday.
Wang was elected at the plenary session of the CCDI, at which the CCDI also elected its deputy secretaries and Standing Committee members.
The first plenary session of the 18th CPC Central Committee approved the elections on Thursday.
