2 dead, 3 injured in S China explosion

NANNING - Two people died and three others were injured when an explosion went off in a residential building in South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region early Tuesday, police said.

The blast happened at around 6 am in a two-story building in Anhe township of Quanzhou county, a spokesman with the public security bureau in Guilin city said.

He said the injured are in hospital and the cause of the explosion is being probed.
