KUALA LUMPA - Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao arrived here Wednesday afternoon, kicking off his two-day official visit to Malaysia. Strengthening political and economic cooperation between the two countries is atop Wen's agenda.

Wen is expected to discuss with his Malaysian counterpart ways of pushing forward bilateral cooperation and to witness the signing ceremonies of a series of cooperation pacts aimed at consolidating cooperation in trade, finance and infrastructure construction.

Wen will also meet with friends from many fields in Malaysia.
