Hotel fire kills at least 6 in C China

CHANGSHA - At least six people were killed and eight others injured in a hotel fire early Thursday in Changsha, capital of central China's Hunan province, local fire fighting department said.

The fire occurred at 0:55 am in a small hotel in Yuelu district of Changsha. Six people choked to death from toxic gas, said the fire fighting department of Changsha city.

The injured people have been taken to hospital for treatment, and the investigation into the fire is underway.
