Mao Tse-tung Thought, developed by the People's Republic of China's founding father, is not outdated and should be put to use in the current information war, Mao Xinyu said Friday on the sidelines of the annual National People's Congress in Beijing.
"Maoism is informative and is rich in relevance to current issues, including military theories and international politics", said Mao Xinyu, grandson of late Chinese chairman Mao Tse-tung and a member of the National Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).
Mao Xinyu, 30, a researcher with Chinese top military academics in Beijing, said his proposal has already garnered support from peer military officers.
