SHANGHAI - Three more suspects were detained following a fatal Shanghai high-rise fire that killed 58 people on Nov 15, a spokesman with the second branch of Shanghai People's Procuratorate confirmed Thursday.

The fire erupted in the afternoon of Nov 15 in Shanghai's Jing'an district, after welding sparks set nylon netting and scaffolding around the building on fire.
Officials have blamed the tragedy on unlicensed welders, illegal sub-contracting and poor management.
Thirteen suspects were earlier arrested, including the welders and managers of the construction companies.
