22 people killed in SW China prairie fire

At least 22 people are believed to have been killed in a devastating prairie fire in Dawu county, Sichuan province, Southwest China on Sunday.

According to local news report, 15 soldiers were among the dead. Four people were injured in the fire, three critically. The critically injured person were taken to the hospital in Kangding county.

About 13.3 hectares grasslands are still burning on Sunday.

Jiang jufeng, governor of Sichuan, is heading to Dawu county on Sunday night.
