A homemade bomb was discovered in a public park in Wuhan, capital city of Central China's Hubei province on the morning of Nov 30, Wuhan Evening News reported.
Local police cordoned off the park gate area where the bomb was found, and the explosive ordnance disposal team was sent to remove it before 10 am.
Min Dongmei, a sanitation worker, and several morning exercisers found a suspicious-looking box near the gate of Liberation Park before 9 am. They thought it looked like a bomb and called the police.
The police confirmed that it was a homemade bomb with simple production and no timer. The case is under investigation.
