According to Li Yuanchao, head of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, a total of 356 county-level organization heads, who have taken their posts since December last year, will attend the first semester of the program.

"The training, carried out directly by the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, is an essential measure to improve the quality of the Party's organization officials," Li said at the opening ceremony for the program.

According to Li, organization departments at county level play a crucial role in the Party's entire organization work since they are closely linked with rural areas and provide direct services for grassroots Party officials and cadres.

Li urged these Party officials to set an example by abiding by the Party's rules and being upright citizens.
