HARBIN -- Transport in northeast China's Heilongjiang province returned to normal Sunday as the blizzard conditions that delayed more than 80 flights and stranded thousands of passengers ended.

Taiping International airport in Harbin, capital of Heilongjiang, resumed normal operations late Saturday.
The heavy snow, which swept across northeast China's Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning provinces and north China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, lasted for more than 60 hours.
