Panwang Festival celebrates prosperity for all

The 11th Panwang Festival of the Yao ethnic group will be held in Ruyuan Yao autonomous county of Guangdong province on Nov 20-22 this year.

Panwang Festival originates from the traditional ceremony of consecration, and has become a grand festival for the Yao people at home and abroad.

Co-organized by the provincial ethnic and religious affairs committee and Shaoguan government, the festival will have a series of events, covering ethnic culture, tourism, art and food, unfolding rich customs and sightseeing.

With the aim of building communication and cooperation for the Yao people all over the world, the festival will contribute significantly to the scientific and harmonious development of the Yao ethnic group, and the common prosperity of all ethnic groups.
