ZHENGZHOU - A magnitude-4.7 quake hit central China's Henan Province Sunday afternoon, seismological authorities said.
The quake struck Henan's Zhoukou City at 4:58 p.m. with a depth of 8 kilometers. It was detected at 34 degrees north latitude, 114.6 degrees east longitude, according to a statement from China National Seismic Network.
Tremor can be felt across eastern Henan, including provincial capital Zhengzhou City. Casualties were not immediately known.
