BEIJING -- Senior Communist Party of China (CPC) official He Yong Tuesday urged state-owned enterprises to implement collective decision-making mechanism processes to fight corruption.
He said enterprises must establish a corruption punishment and prevention systems suitable for modern enterprises.
He said enterprises' leaders, especially top officials, should take the lead in implementing collective decision-making processes.
China said last week it would introduce new collective decision-making procedures for powerful and profitable SOEs.
All important decisions, including the appointment of key officials and executives, arrangements for major projects and decisions concerning large amounts of funds, must now be jointly decided by collective leadership, according to the new procedures.
