Most of China's regions meet energy saving target

Twenty-eight of China's 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities met or surpassed energy conservation targets last year, figures from the National Bureau of Statistics show.

Tibet Autonomous Region almost reached the target, while Guizhou province and Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region fell short, xinhuanet.com reported Thursday.
