5.0-magnitude quake jolts southwest China

BEIJING - An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter Scale jolted the bordering region of Dujiangyan city and Pengzhou city of southwest Sichuan Province at 14:11 pm Tuesday, according to China's seismological network.

The epicenter of the quake was at 31.1 degrees north latitude and 103.7 degrees east longitude, at a depth of 10 km.
