China to support cultural companies to be listed

The State Council, the country's cabinet, publicized a revitalization plan for the cultural industry yesterday, Xinhuanet reported.

According to the plan, the government will encourage cultural companies deemed to be capable, to be listed on the main stock exchanges and the soon to be launched Growth Enterprises Board as a way of financing, the report said.

The plan also encourages mergers and acquisitions between the listed cultural companies through refinancing.
