Pregnant woman knocks down motorcyclist

An 8-month pregnant woman was detained after she knocked down a motorcyclist with her car in Xinmi, Henan province, on Sunday.

The woman, surnamed Li, told police she failed to maneuver the wheel quickly because her stomach had blocked the steering.

The motorcyclist was rushed to a hospital, where he is said to be in a stable condition.
