Man kills wife on V-day eve over untidy house

A heavily intoxicated man killed his wife on the eve of the Chinese Valentine's Day after she accused him of wasting his life drinking alcohol all the time in Shenyang, Liaoning province.

The man started quarreling with his wife because he thought the house was extremely untidy, following which his wife told him he had done nothing good for the family.

The man picked up a kitchen knife and cut his wife's throat. She died on the way to the hospital, from where the accused was arrested.
