An ancient banyan tree has been attracting sightseers in Nanning, capital of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

Located in Dingxi Village in the city's Datang Township, the tree has attached itself to a wall, sending its roots deep into the bricks.

Local villagers believe the "sleeping" banyan tree is more than 100 years old.
