Man seeking breakup goes to cop

A man in Ningbo, Zhejiang, asked police to keep him in prison on Monday to get rid of his loyal lover.

The man, surnamed Shen, had cohabited with a woman, surnamed Li, for three years before he got tired of her and asked for a breakup. But Li was unwilling to end the relationship and kept following Shen everywhere. Shen changed his residence, phone numbers and even hairstyles to no avail.

Shen then ran into a nearby police station for help on Monday. She followed, and after a one-night talk in the station, they left together peaceably.
