A dog roaming around the Penghu Islands was caught by locals Monday. The dog's face swells to the size of a hog face as an over-tightened collar had haunted the dog for months, reported the Eastern Multimedia News Tuesday.

The dog was freed at last by a veterinarian when it was sent to the veterinary clinic after capture. According to the veterinarian, the dog's blood circulation was seriously blocked by its collar, and it is still in a critical condition.
