Cyber clues on offer

Reporters can bypass media officers at the NPC to find out more about the delegation from Zhejiang. Information is simply a click away.

For the first time in the NPC history, a local delegation has launched its own website.

"We started the website to provide more news clues to reporters," said Xie Guoyi, media officer of the Zhejiang delegation.

"We thought of a plan for such a website for a long time and we tested it at the provincial people's congress earlier this year. It won praise from the media then."

Launched on Sunday, the night before the opening of the NPC session, the page could be linked from three main websites of Zhejiang province www.zjol.com.cn, www.zjrd.gov.cn and www.zjnetcom.com.

The media centers of NPC and the CPPCC launched their websites separately days before the sessions opened.

Jim: Those who label China a "threat" have ulterior motives to do so.

MT: There should be no doubt in anybody's mind as to the ability and will of the Chinese govt. to achieve the said target of poverty reduction.

tragicjoker: But for the fact that it is so tragic for the repeated raped sex slaves, the fairy tales modern Japanese militarists concoct about Japan's most shameful chapter in the treatment of women in human history are just outrageously amusing and mindboggling.

tonyqi: Thanks to the provincial government's effort, nowadays the situation in Jiangsu is improving.

WHY: western countries and their media have always attacked China's consumption of energy, and also regard China as a new colonial in Africa, why?
