There's ink in blood of this master collector

Xu Xiangchun, a 60-year-old resident of Xi'an, capital of Shaanxi Province, collected more than 100,000 editions of domestic and foreign newspapers in the past eight years.

Xu has liked reading newspapers since his childhood and started to collect them in 1998, when he spent more than 6,000 yuan ($770) to buy a large number of old papers at a local flea market.

Xu's favortie papers are those published during the turn of the millennium.

He collected about 100 editions published on December 31, 2000, and January 1, 2001.

Xu's collection includes more than 1,000 domestic and foreign newspapers.
