A family have lived with a swarm of bees for more than eight years in the village of Tantou in Lingui County, the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

Local farmer Tang Tongyuan found a swarm of bees in his bedroom one day when he returned home.

Tang tried to shoo away the bees many times, but they refused to leave his home. He began to like the sweet-smelling bees and found they never stung him and his family.

The farmer gave up the wardrobe in his bedroom for the bees to build their home.

Tang currently gathers more than 30 kilograms of honey from the bees every year.
