Residents have listed theft, being bitten by dogs and noise disturbance as their top three complaints in a recent survey by local media in Wuhan, Hebei Province.

The aim of the survey was to provide suggestions to the municipal government.

One resident said he had lost his new mobile phone on a bus recently and his house had been broken into at night. He called on the government to do more to improve public security.

Another local said he and his son had been bitten by dogs in the past few months. He said dogs were roaming the streets, parks and other public places. He suggested measures be taken to solve the problem.

And another respondent said noise from nearby buildings, loudspeakers blaring from small shops and construction site noise had seriously disturbed residents' lives.
