Soccer fan hurts himself in dream

A football fan in Qingdao, Shandong Province, broke his toes on Tuesday when he practised shooting in his dreams.

Li has been an obsessive football fan since the start of the World Cup, never missing a single match.

He got so involved in the action that he often liked to copy the movements of football players while watching and kicked over the family's table several times.

On Tuesday when he had a dream of scoring goal in a match as an Italian player, his right foot hit the wall and immediately became swollen and black.

In the morning when he woke up, Li felt a bad pain in his foot. A medical check indicated a fractured toe.
