Gong Li tops beauty list; Li Yuchun follows

over Chinese audiences not only with her outstanding performance but her
stunning beauty.

the Chinese beauty rankings conducted by the Beijing News, May 22. The 2005
Super Voice Girl champion Li Yuchun makes an unexpected second on the list after
Gong with her more alternative beauty.

Yuchun | Actress Zhou Xun and Zhang Ziyi trail in
third and fourth place respectively.
Zhang Ziyi also made the world's top 50 most beautiful women in an American
survey.
Some have jeered at Li for trumping so many other more conventional beauties,
saying that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Li, who became a household name overnight last year, is well known for her
boyish spiky hair and tomboy appearance. She has many more female fans than
male.
