The Communist Party of China (CPC) has pledged to further crack down on irregularities in the process of forming new leaderships of local committees at the provincial, municipal, county and township levels.

The Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee is aiming to create a sound environment for the reshuffling of CPC leaderships at the four local levels, which is expected to last from the later half of this year to the first half of the next.

Leading officials of the Party's local committees will be organized to study the Party Constitution and its relevant internal regulations to further highlight the Party disciplines, according to a circular recently issued by the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee and the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.

All Party members are urged to give priority to the interests of the Party and the people, it says.

According to the circular, a special hotline, 12380, has been opened to handle complaints or tips on any irregularities that have occurred during the process of reshuffling in an attempt to increase supervision.

Those who dare to violate Party disciplines and regulations will be punished severely and handed over to judicial departments if they have violated the law, the circular says.
