Forest fire in Hainan

Firefighters spray water to put out a
forest fire in Qionghai, southmost China's Hainan province May 18, 2006.
The fire occurred at 8:00 a.m. Thursday and has been under control with 9-hour
efforts. The fire is blamed on a worker who dumped his cigarette end. Further
investigation is under way. [Xinhua]
