More than 100 former Jewish refugees
and their descendants from the United States, Germany, Australia and other
countries walk along the Zhoushan Road in Shanghai's Hongkou District where
they lived from 1939 to 1948 as Jewish refugees to escape the Holocaust during
World War II. They are in the city for the "2006
Shanghai Reunion" on April 27, 206. Shanghai received 25,000 Jewish
