Midday snooze ends in four-year memory loss (China Daily) Updated: 2006-04-25 08:49
A 16-year-old boy suffered memory loss when he awoke from a nap at school in
Shenyang, Liaoning Province last week.
Jin, a Grade 3 middle-school student, woke from a post-lunch nap on his desk
believing he was a 12-year-old primary student. He didn't recognize his
classmates and had no recollection of the past four years.
Doctors recommended psychological counselling and said Jin may be suffering
from depression and anxiety in the lead-up to exams.
